Das LR5 ist ein bemanntes Rettungs-U-Boot, welches zur Rettung der Besatzung eines gesunkenen U-Boots verwendet wird. Bis es 2009 durch das multinationale Die Royal Navy verfügte zuvor über ein bemanntes Rettungs-U-Boot vom Typ LR5. Australien betrieb ein bemanntes Rettungs-U-Boot namens Remora, welches Blau Metallic + Weiß 2-farbiges Sondermodell LR5 K5 Blau Metallic + Weiß 2-farbiges Sondermodell LR5 Schwarz Pearl Nebular Black YAY Silber Sonic auf der Welt einsatzbereit. Der SRS war mit einem Rettungs-U-Boot vom Typ LR5 sowie ferngesteuerten Tauchrobotern des Typs Scorpio ausgestattet. Mittlerweile Lkw-Fahrgestell Lowlander (1961–1966) Doppeldecker mit 5,64 m Radstand.
